The Kosgolla Bridge is a significant infrastructure project located on the Badulla - Mahiyangana Road, spanning across the Badulu Oya (river) near Dunhinda. With a total length of 44 meters, width of 3.4 meters, and a height of 8.3 meters, the bridge will improve connectivity in the region, facilitating smoother transportation and supporting local economic activities.
Funded by the Japan Government, the project is being overseen by the Institute of Engineers Sri Lanka. The bridge is currently 80% completed and is expected to play a crucial role in enhancing the region's road infrastructure, particularly benefiting communities around the Badulu Oya and enhancing access to key areas in the Badulla - Mahiyangana corridor.
